What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Team Lead position at Utah Youth Village?

Responsibilities may include:
- Taking student vital signs.
- Teaching medication administration to residential staff.
- Handling student sick calls and monitoring sick bed care.
- Coordinating TB screenings for employees.
- Providing basic first aid and assisting in our student clinic weekly.
- Verifying medications from the pharmacy.
- Offering health and nutrition counseling to students.
- Conducting intake assessments and communicating with parents about student needs.
- Supervising medical team staff, including supportive development and accountability.
Night and evening calls may be required and/or shared among team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates with relevant licensure or certifications, such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Paramedic, Licensed Clinical Nurse (LCN), or Health Education Specialist. Individuals with certifications or experience in health counseling, first aid, or other medical-related fields are also encouraged to apply. Experience in residential or youth-focused settings is highly valued!
