The Peak Café Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. This role involves taking orders, preparing drinks and food, and ensuring timely delivery of products to guests while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area. The Snack Bar Attendant plays a key role in the guest experience by providing friendly and professional service, handling cash transactions accurately, and supporting the smooth operation of the snack bar. The position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to address guest concerns promptly.
Qualifications
Customer Service Excellence: Provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive service to both restaurant guests and staff. Ensure guests feel valued by engaging in friendly conversations and adhering to the 10/5 Rule: make eye contact and smile from 10 feet away, and greet and speak to guests when within 5 feet.
Order Input & Accuracy: Accurately input all orders into the POS terminal, ensuring customer requests are properly logged. Maintain accuracy when posting transactions, ensuring the correct change is given and all cash, charge, and complimentary sales are accounted for according to established procedures.
Product Preparation & Delivery: Prepare drinks and food to order, following established recipes and time guidelines. Deliver products to guests in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of service and product quality.
Stock & Inventory Management: Maintain appropriate levels of stock items in the snack bar area. Assist in monitoring and maintaining display cases and pastry par levels to ensure products are fresh and readily available.
Cleanliness & Organization: Keep the designated working area clean and organized, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Assist in maintaining cleanliness of surrounding areas, including condiment stations and display cases.
Team Collaboration & Support: Support co-workers by assisting with food product delivery and other tasks as needed. Work collaboratively with management and team members to ensure smooth snack bar operations.
Training & Development: Assist in training new attendants and management staff during their training periods, ensuring they understand and can perform job duties to company standards.
Operational Compliance: Perform cleaning tasks as assigned by management, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment.
Guest Complaint Resolution: Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction and informing management of any issues that require further attention or action.
