Project Overview

Ute Mountain Casino Hotel (UMCH), located in Towaoc, CO, seeks a highly skilled contractor to research, design, and deliver a customized 5-day leadership training program. This opportunity is ideal for a professional with expertise in leadership development, instructional design, and adult education.

The contractor will begin by researching and presenting key leadership theories and frameworks to UMCH leadership for review. Based on input from these discussions, the contractor will develop an engaging program tailored to UMCH’s unique needs. The program will emphasize customer service, hospitality, self-awareness, communication, mutual respect, team dynamics, and effective leadership practices while equipping UMCH leadership with the tools to administer and sustain the program long-term.

Scope of Work

The contractor will :

Prepare a Detailed Project Outline :

Develop and submit a comprehensive Project Outline at the start of the contract.
Include objectives, scope of work, key deliverables, timeline, and estimated costs for materials, software, or other tools.
Ensure alignment with UMCH leadership’s vision and approach before proceeding to research & content development.

Develop Training Content :

Create a custom 5-day leadership curriculum incorporating selected theories and frameworks.

Conduct regular update sessions and meetings to ensure continued alignment and continuity

Include interactive components such as building group exercises, breakout sessions, and 1-on-1 role-playing to evaluate participant understanding and effectiveness.

Create High-Quality Materials :

Develop professional PowerPoint presentations, animations, handouts, and exercises.

Ensure materials are visually appealing, clear, and actionable.

Utilize Paycom LMS :

Design and upload the course to the Paycom LMS, integrating assessments, modules, and tracking tools for future use.

Incorporate Key Training Themes :

Leadership & Team Management : Team building, conflict resolution, motivating employees, and performance management.

Customer Service Excellence : Emphasizing “Prosperity Through Service,” handling challenging guests, creating a guest-centric culture, and fostering cross-departmental collaboration.

Change Management : Principles of managing change, continuous improvement, and leading through transitions.

Deliver the Program :

Facilitate the 5-day leadership training program while simultaneously seeking to apply the "train the trainer" to UMCH staff, ensuring identified organizational employees are prepared to administer the course in the future.

Provide detailed facilitator guides, participant handouts, and ongoing support materials.

Handoff and Sustainability :

Ensure a seamless transition, equipping UMCH with the tools and training to independently run the program long-term.

Qualifications

Proven experience in instructional design, leadership development, and adult education.

Ability to research and present diverse leadership theories in a concise, engaging manner.

Expertise in designing interactive learning experiences, including group work and individual role-playing.

Proficiency with Paycom LMS or similar platforms.

Strong facilitation skills and a commitment to creating sustainable training solutions.

Compensation

Competitive project-based compensation, with flexibility based on qualifications and deliverables.

Expected range : $10,000–$25,000 for the full project.

Timeline

Proposal Application Deadline : February 10, 2025

Application Review and Selection : February 10-16th, 2025

Final Interview Round : February 17th, 2025

Anticipated Project Start Date : February 24th, 2025

Anticipated Completion Target : May 16th, 2025
