We are currently hiring a detail-oriented Produce Stocker to join our team. As a Produce Stocker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our produce section is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload produce shipments, verifying accuracy against invoices.
- Stock shelves and displays with fresh produce, ensuring products are properly rotated to maintain freshness.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the produce department, including regular cleaning of displays and storage areas.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, assisting customers with inquiries and product selection.
- Read invoices and product tags accurately to verify stock and pricing.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Good customer service skills with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Experience in stocking or a similar role preferred but not required
