Patient Care Coordinator

Uthe Hearing Aid & Audiology, a privately-owned Audiology practice in Des Moines, IA is seeking aPatient Care Coordinatorto join our team. The following DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES are central to the role:

• Manage patients scheduling and confirming appointments
• Light handling of insurance, daily upkeep of billing and invoices
• Maintain patient records & manage patient charts
• Extensive Customer Service utilizing email, phone calls, and in-person interactions
• Ability and willingness to handle current and new patient calls to convert into appointments
• Able to effectively multitask between phone duties and office duties
• Maintain upkeep of the office, general cleaning
• Other administrative duties as assigned

To ensure success candidates should also possess the following EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Demonstrated experience building strong and positive relationships with patients or customers
• An ability to communicate verbally & in writing with utmost clarity
• Proficiency with MS-Office & other medical practice software
• High School Diploma is required. Business school or Associate degree preferred
• Experience working with the hard of hearing or hearing aids preferred, but not required. We will train the right candidate
