We offer work / life services such as...Free financial and legal counselingFree mental health counseling servicesGym membership discounts and access to wellness programsOther employee discounts including entertainment, car rentals, cell phones, etc.Resources for child and elder carePlus many more!Position Summary : Produces radiographs of various portions of the body according to physician’s request.Position Key Accountabilities : Develops radiographs using an automatic processor and checks for desired results.Prepares patients films for interpretation by radiologist.Maintains quality assurance on all radiological equipment.Prepares patient for radiographic procedures.Assists in the accurate timing and positioning techniques.Maintains and files radiology procedure paperwork.Maintains inventory supplies, coordinates student / patient room assignments in clinic.Must be able to respond to emergency situations.Other duties as assigned.Certification / Skills : Current licensure as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) by the Texas Medical Board andRegistered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).Minimum Education : Graduate from an approved two year program in Radiologic technology.Minimum Experience : None.Physical Requirements : Exerts up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and / or up to 50 pounds frequently and / or up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects.Security Sensitive : This job class may contain positions that are security sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of Texas Education Code § 51.215Residency Requirement : Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.If you are looking for a great healthcare career in Houston, !University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth)Established in 1972 by The University of Texas System Board of Regents, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) is Houston’s Health University and Texas’ resource for health care education, innovation, scientific discovery and excellence in patient care.
