Delivers resolutions forbusiness process changes for information systems projects. Interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understand their problems and needs. Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information and evaluating requirements.Conducts business systems analysis, process flow modeling, and process improvement. Analyzes business processes and studies system capabilities of existing information systems. Interviews stakeholders, end users, and subject matter experts for fact-finding and requirement gathering. Maps existing business processes. Creates, analyzes, and validates detailed functional specifications. Documents existing business processes and business rules. Identifies the current and future-state business processes. Constructs Visio charts and diagrams for workflows.Prepares business cases and assists with cost / benefit analysis for proposed solutions.Facilitates the design of new solutions and optimizations that support business processes. Works with business partners, system architects, and training to design, modify, test, and implement new or improved business processes or modification to systems. The analyst solves business problems and, as needed, participates in the design of technical solutions.Performs reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports. Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support recommendations. Actively participates in the implementation of approved changes. Helps the business stakeholders envision the future and how their work will need to change to support systems in the future.Actively participates in development of organizational change and implementation plans. Analyzes impacts on training and organizational changes. Ability to design training materials. Ability to train users on new procedures and systems.Communicates process or system changes via oral and written communications including presentations.Communicates project objectives and status to project sponsors and stakeholders. Communicates with project teams and constituencies.Conducts post implementation reviews, provides support and documents goal attainment.Conducts periodic reviews of Revenue Cycle system master files and automation opportunities.Maintains knowledge of future enhancements. Participates in vendor or customer led presentations regarding system updates, issues and optimization opportunities and communicates relevant findings.Performs other duties as assigned.Certification / Skills : Experience with PMI, Six Sigma or IIBA standards preferred.Advanced Microsoft Office skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical problem-solving skillsDetail orientedHighly collaborativeIntermediate experience managing revenue cycle or IT projectsExperience with Epic or other EHR strongly preferredMinimum Education : Bachelor's degree required.
