The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing guest check-ins and check-outs, performing nightly audits, and providing exceptional guest services.
Responsibilities
- Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in all accounts.
- Manage front desk operations, including guest check-ins and check-outs.
- Handle phone systems efficiently, addressing inquiries and providing information to guests.
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting guests with their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions.
- Prepare daily reports summarizing occupancy, revenue, and other key metrics.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming for guests.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality.
- Proficiency in phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus.
- Multilingual abilities are advantageous for assisting diverse guests.
