POSITION SUMMARY
The Regulatory Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring that the company is conducting its business in full compliance of with all national and international laws, including regulations that will involve the creation, review and implementation of policies and procedures and best practices within the industry. The Regulatory Compliance Manager applies and interprets audit and compliance requirements for various departments. They interact with external auditors on matters related to audits of the organizations internal controls, and assess potential fraud activity, plus develop fraud detection tools as well as do any GAP analysis on best practices and make sure that there is a robust risk and compliance framework in the organization.
Responsibilities :
Facility Compliance Officer Role
- Monitor operational processes and procedures to ensure that the facility complies with all legal regulations and ethical standards
Maintain the facilitys compliance work plan using OIG guidance
Conduct and cooperate with investigations
Coordinate and support corporate monitoring and auditing procedures
Advise colleagues on ethics and compliance matters
Attend the facilitys clinical ethics committee
Oversee facility compliance with records retention requirements
Responsible for coordination of Facility Compliance Committee meetings
Participate in scheduled market compliance committee meetings
Facility HIPAA Privacy Officer Role
Advise colleagues on HIPAA ethics and compliance matters
Conduct and cooperate with investigations, internal and external
Monitor Ardent systems designed to track individuals access to protected health information and investigate as necessary
Oversee facility compliance with records retention requirements
Responsible for coordination of Facility Breach Committee meetings
Participate in scheduled market HIPAA committee meetings
