Position Summary:
* CLASS A CDL PREFERRED*
This position performs routine skilled and technical support work in the inspection, repair and maintenance of substation electrical equipment.
This position requires working outdoors in all weather conditions. Occasionally work is performed near moving mechanical parts in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, ambient air, temperature extremes, fumes and airborne particulates, traffic, electrical shock hazard, noise pollution, and vibration.
Job Duties:

Complete maintenance/construction activities on all substation equipment including but not limited to switches, circuit breakers, transformers, regulators, PT's, CT's, CCVT's and grounding systems

Assemble and repair power transformers.

Operate oil processing equipment for transformer vacuum filling and oil processing.

Maintain oil processing equipment in mechanical working order.

Extensive Travel to different customer sites/locations.

Basic understanding of power factor, winding resistance, circuit breaker timing, and leakage reactance testing and interpret results
