Utilities One is looking for a local Director of OSP Construction for the Pacific Southwest market. This role will support our Telecommunications Division, providing a world-class turnkey solution for companies building Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) networks across the country.

- Develop and implement our end-to-end construction model to standardize processes, systems, tracking, and overall approach;
- Oversee construction field operations, managing in-house crews, subcontractors, and inspection activities;
- Recruit, manage, and expand our OSP Construction team;
- Identify and onboard additional subcontractors and resources to support construction projects while ensuring quality and schedule adherence;
- Communicate expectations effectively and frequently with external vendors and internal teams;
- Manage and develop our construction vendor relationships and strategic partnerships;
- Lead RFP responses in collaboration with the Utilities One bids and proposals team;
- Provide guidance on technical and operational issues to internal and external personnel;
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support project requirements and optimize processes;
- Improve Construction Processes, Program Management, Operational Support Practices, and Financial Performance
- Minimum of 7-9 years of inside and outside plant experience in telecommunications, with in-depth knowledge of ISP/OSP equipment, design, construction, and installation—or equivalent training and experience;
- Must be located in Arizona (AZ) or willing to relocate there;
- Deep understanding of industry work processes and trends;
- Ability to lead a team of individual contributors to achieve departmental goals;
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams, contractors, and external vendors;
- Comprehensive knowledge of network topologies, including switching, access, and transport components of the network
