Description
We are currently seeking a Logistic Specialist o join our team.
Job Summary :
Under the supervision of the Warehouse General Foreperson this position will be responsible and accountable for supporting the warehouse needs to support the field personnel in the company footprint.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
General warehouse work
Shipping, receiving
Picking orders, cycle counting and computer data entry
Respond to after hour calls and overtime work as requested is required.
Hazards :
Works around hazardous equipment.
May be subjected to high intensity and stressful situations.
Work in all temperatures (cold, snow, ice, wind, rain, heat).
Exposed to warehouse traffic and mobile equipment.
May work on uneven terrain.
May be exposed to nature, i.e. irritating plants and biting or stinging insects.
Minimum Qualifications :
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
3 plus years of dispatching or logistics coordination
Must be willing to travel to all regions within the customer footprint to participate in training and job duties as required
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Must be able to work independently or in a group environment
Strong troubleshooting skills
Able to work in all customer related ROWs, Stations and Facilities
Must have cognition to concentrate on the work for an 8 to 10-hour day.
