Bore Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Boring Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various types of heavy equipment on construction sites. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of machinery, including but not limited to loaders, backhoes, boring machines, excavators. The Operator will be responsible for performing tasks that contribute to the successful completion of construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery such as boring machines, and excavators in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Build and maintain structures or components as required by project specifications.
• Dig trenches or holes as needed for construction purposes.
• Collaborate with team members on-site to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols.
• Follow all safety regulations and guidelines while operating machinery.
• Report any mechanical issues or concerns to the supervisor promptly.

Experience

• Proven experience in operating heavy machinery.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues with equipment.
• Experience in commercial driving is preferred.
• Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
