We are currently seeking a Master Scheduler to join our growing team of skilled, dedicated professionals at our Morris, IL location. This role plays a vital part in supporting the operations department through planning and, among other responsibilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and coordinate production schedules across multiple areas to meet customer demands and operational requirements.
- Regularly update and optimize schedules to improve efficiency and evolving needs
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance schedule effectiveness
- Monitor and report on schedule adherence, providing key insights and recommendations
- Lead operational planning for orders not yet in production, ensuring readiness and efficiency
- Communicate capacity and utilization updates across the organization
- Ensure production processes are operating at peak efficiency
- Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferable
- Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fact paced, deadline driven environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate effectively within a team
- Resourceful and capable of working independently to resolve challenges
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- Positive, solution-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to tasks and helpful attitude
Education and Experience:
- Degree in business management or related field
- 5 years’ related experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or a related field
- Precast concrete or construction experience preferred but not required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
