The Director of Marketing and Communication will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's brand and marketing strategies, focusing on building awareness and generating demand for our solutions. You will drive the creation of innovative marketing campaigns and work closely with leadership to position the company as an industry leader. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both the clean energy sector and B2B marketing, with a proven track record in driving growth through integrated marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Marketing Strategy Development :
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, data-driven marketing strategy to position us as a market leader in clean energy technology.
  • Align marketing efforts with the company’s business goals, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and brand awareness.
  • Continuously assess and refine marketing strategies based on market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape.
  • Brand Management & Positioning :
  • Lead the development and implementation of the brand strategy, ensuring that our value proposition is communicated consistently across all channels.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling content that educates, informs, and inspires target audiences about hydrogen’s role in the clean energy future.
  • Campaigns & Lead Generation :
  • Plan, create, and manage integrated marketing campaigns (digital, print, events, etc.) to generate high-quality leads and drive business development.
  • Utilize a variety of channels (social media, website, email marketing, SEO / SEM, industry events) to ensure the company’s messaging reaches target audiences effectively.
  • Partnerships & Industry Relations :
  • Foster strategic partnerships with key industry stakeholders, including governmental bodies, industry associations, and other clean energy organizations.
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance visibility and establish thought leadership.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration :
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Development  and Engineering, to align marketing initiatives with product launches and customer needs.
  • Market Research & Analytics :
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Analyze and report on marketing campaign performance, using data to inform future strategies and optimize marketing spend.
  • Budget Management :
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maximize ROI.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, including agencies and contractors, to support marketing initiatives.
  • Qualifications :
  • Education :
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience :
  • 15 years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of leading marketing teams and executing successful B2B marketing strategies, preferably in the energy or technology sector.
  • Experience in the clean energy, hydrogen, or sustainability sectors is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO / SEM, content marketing, social media, and email marketing.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional projects and collaborating with senior leadership.
  • Skills & Competencies :
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions and optimize marketing strategies.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment.
