Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Engineering to lead our engineering team. This executive will be responsible for driving the technical vision, overseeing the development and deployment of our hydrogen production technologies, and ensuring engineering excellence across all initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical, mechanical, or process engineering, coupled with leadership experience in the energy, hydrogen, or clean technology industries.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Leadership : Define and implement the engineering strategy to support the company's long-term goals and technological advancements.
- Team Leadership : Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Project Execution : Align the engineering personnel to ensure the successful execution of the engineering scope in FEED studies and projects from concept through commercialization, meeting technical, budgetary, and timeline requirements.
- Process Optimization : Lead efforts to enhance efficiency, reliability, value engineering, scalability and total cost of ownership of our proprietary hydrogen production processes.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, operations, and commercial teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives.
- Regulatory & Safety Compliance : Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.
- Intellectual Property : Drive the development and protection of key technological advancements through patents and trade secrets.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Represent the engineering function in discussions with investors, partners, and regulatory agencies as needed.
