Job Summary: Lead and Coordinate efforts on the Manheim Shop Night Shift to ensure safe, efficient and productive repair throughput.

Essential Duties:
- Fulfill 50% of working hours on billable repair work and 50% on planning, leading, organizing and coordinating shift activities (e.g. training, QA, trailer moves, problem solving, 6S, etc.)
- Follow and promote a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Maintain company 6S organizational standards.
- Communicate and coordinate with the Shop Supervisors to ensure Tech assignments, completion times, and repair metrics are meeting standards.
- Provide guidance, feedback, and Scorecard reviews, with the night shift Technicians.
- Implement changes communicated by the Service Manager and Supervisors.
- Perform other duties and functions as required by the Service Manager and Supervisors.
- Be a strong team player while maintaining a professional and friendly attitude.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding and instructions in writing, oral, schedule or diagram form while using sound judgment when faced with complex circumstances.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several variables, while maintaining calm when negotiating with a difficult customer or employee.
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with Service Team.
- Process Oriented, follow a system for successful trailer throughput
- Technical Skills – understand quality repairs and solve all customer repair needs.
- Relationship Focused – have a natural ability to connect with others.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
3-5 years industry experience and/or training a plus
Physical Environments:
- Noise levels are moderate to high at times.
- Physical exertion is moderate to heavy. The employee must be able to occasionally lift and or move up to 100 pounds.
- The employee must be capable of continuously climbing up and down into a truck/trailer.
