Flagger
A flaggers main responsibility will be the control and flow of traffic around road worksites using warning and detour signs, position traffic cones and barricades, and informing the site crew of any safety hazards.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Controls movement of vehicular traffic through sites in which utility work is performed.
- Directs movement of traffic through the site using approved traffic signals.
- Moves from job site to job site as necessary.
- Uses a stop and slow paddle and flag, each of which weighs approximately less than 1pound.
- Comply with all safety and health rules.
- Reports all injuries no matter how minor to the Foreperson Immediately.
- Ensure daily testing and inspection of assigned tools and equipment.
- Performs all work from the ground.
- Working hours are typically a 10-hour day.
- Clears work area and maintains safe jobsite conditions.
- All other duties as required or requested by Supervisors.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Education & Experience
- Ability to provide proof of work experience, schooling, and other certifications obtained during career.
Pre-Screen
- Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.
License & Certifications:
- Driver License Required, willingness to obtain a valid CDL within 90 days of employment preferred.
Travel Requirements:
- Willing to travel out of state for emergency storm work.
Physical Requirements:
- RARE (less than 10%): Sitting, Crawling, and Climbing Poles
- OCCASIONAL (up to 33%): Stooping, Kneeling, Squatting, Body Twisting, Sense of Touch, Range of Motion, Pushing, Climbing Ladders, Climbing Stairs, Balancing, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- FREQUENT (up to 66 %): Walking, Manual Dexterity, Seeing Distant, Climbing On/Off Truck, Gripping, Lifting Over 10 lbs. up to 50 lbs., Reaching, Depth Perception, Lifting, Carrying, and Pulling.
- CONTINUOUS (up to 100%): Standing, Speaking Clearly, Seeing, Hearing-Speech Range, Color Vision, Lifting Up to 10 lbs.
