Vegetation GIS Data Analyst
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Michigan Vegetation Manager, the Vegetation GIS Data Analyst will be responsible for ensuring work data collected in the field is reviewed, QA’d, and packaged to be sent to tree crews.

Vegetation GIS Data Analyst
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Michigan Vegetation Manager, the Vegetation GIS Data Analyst will be responsible for ensuring work data collected in the field is reviewed, QA’d, and packaged to be sent to tree crews.
Responsibilities Include
- Run weekly reports in Clearion Software
- Quality control of the vegetation database
- Updating Smartsheet and Canvas Reports
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues from field employees and contractors
- Main point of contact between company and customer for any data related issues
The successful candidate(s) will possess the following experience and/or skills:
- Minimum of a Associate’s degree or years of related experience.
- Experience with ESRI, Clearion, or similar GIS platforms and maintaining databases in SQL
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and writing excel macros.
- Working knowledge of Clearion, Smartsheet and Canvas
- Experience Power BI is recommended
- Experience in the electric utility and or vegetation / management field is preferred.
- Able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Must be able to work independently or in a group environment
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to travel
- Maintain a good and friendly working rapport with the field
- Able to work in all areas related properties and facilities / Access is a condition of employment at all times
