YOUR IMPACT
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our development team reporting to the Vice President of Project Delivery. In this role, you will work on multiple complex software development projects to ensure timely, predictable, and quality delivery. You'll use your strong interpersonal skills to communicate status, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction with customers, project stakeholders, and internal departments.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
- Write well-designed testable code.
- Monitor the incoming tasks via Azure DevOps and Microsoft Teams.
- Attend regular scrum meetings to communicate progress with stakeholders and other team-members.
- Alert manager and project manager when you are blocked on tasks.
- Communicate with other team members on changes that may impact them.
- Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improve existing software.
- Engage actively in code reviews, upholding the high quality and consistency of our software solutions.
- Analyze and solve business problems through software creation.
- Participate in the rotational technical "on-call" shift (2-week duration) to help support high priority / high severity customer issues. Shifts occur approximately every 12-14 weeks.
