The Hydaker-Wheatlake Co (HWC) is seeking a Hydrovac Operator to join our growing team!
Essential Job Functions :
- Safely and efficiently operate hydrovac equipment to perform excavation, daylighting, trenching, and cleanup tasks around sensitive underground infrastructure.
- Prepare job sites by ensuring safe and compliant setup, such as following road safety rules, barricading work areas, and verifying utility locations.
- Conduct pre-and post-trip inspections and basic maintenance of equipment. Report any issues or malfunctions promptly.
- Accurately complete paperwork related to projects, including daily logs, safety reports, and work summaries.
- Collaborate with the team, clients, and supervisors to ensure clear communication and compliance with all job requirements.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies regarding safety, environmental protection, and operational standards.
