Electrical/Electronic Assembler Position
THE COMPANY
Utility Systems Technologies, Inc., (UST) is a small, dynamic company located near Albany, New York, producing state-
of-the-art electronic and magnetic equipment used to improve the quality of electrical power consumed through industrial
markets. For more than a decade UST has designed and manufactured several unique electronic power quality devices
to solve power quality problems caused by the combination of utility deregulation, the changing nature of electrical loads,
and the soaring cost of electricity. UST products are unique in the marketplace, offering features and benefits not
available in competing technologies. It is UST’s objective to capitalize on this market opportunity by reaching out to
untapped segments of this unique market.
UST is a privately held company and has been growing at a rate of 15% for the last decade. It is our mission to provide
our resellers and end users the most cost effective, efficient, and reliable solution to a broad range of power quality needs.
In order to accomplish this UST is anticipating growing its production staff by adding an electrical/electronic assembler
immediately.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Become familiar with UST’s products
Produce neat and proper assembly of UST electrical products
Work with engineers to continuously improve production methods and products
Work successfully with purchasing to ensure that parts are received and utilized properly.
Perform tool/equipment maintenance and maintain an organized shop area
Work with shipping to prepare units for domestic and international shipping
CANDIDATE CAPABILITIES
Two-year degree or equivalent experience
Be able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints
Strong communication and time management skills
Must be entrepreneurial and able to succeed thinking and working independently
Be comfortable working in a production shop environment
Work with management and assembly foreman/production manager to accomplish a smooth effective production
3-5 Years Industrial Experience Preferred (Willing to Traing the right candidate)
COMPENSATION
Base salary based on qualifications. Company paid health care and 401k plan with company contribution. Generous PTO
