Job Description :
- Develop, evaluate, and design enhancements to existing tools and equipment used in Manufacturing by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication processes, assembly methods, tooling, materials, and production equipment capabilities.
- Will analyze, develop, and implement a process to measure equipment reliability in order to identify improvement opportunities.
- Will work with Maintenance to ensure proper machine and work center up time and preventative maintenance scheduled down time. Will manage various Capital Expenditure projects, including planning, installation, monitoring and control of the project.
- Starting with 5S you will identify, develop, implement, and monitor Manufacturing Engineering initiatives.
- Will work with various process improvement ideas and programs to help develop a continuous improvement effort in the plant.
- May need to use internal and external resources to assist with areas that require technical expertise.
- May work on standardized work processes.
- May be assigned one type of equipment / tooling / operation to become the expert for the company.
- May have to work various shifts to accomplish the goal.
