- Outside Parts Sales Representative
Job Purpose:
- To increase sales and market share of trailer parts and accessories by actively prospecting and developing new customer accounts while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships within a defined territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a sales strategy for assigned territory to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Prospect and cultivate new customer relationships through cold calling, networking, and lead generation activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication and excellent customer service.
- Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to customers, assisting them in selecting the appropriate parts and accessories for their needs.
- Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations to customers, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Process customer orders efficiently and accurately, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor customer accounts and proactively address any issues or concerns.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance.
- Utilize CDK Drive software for sales management, inventory tracking, and customer relationship management.
- Meet or exceed established sales quotas and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve overall company objectives.
- Represent Utility Trailer of Dallas Control Account in a professional and ethical manner at all times.

- High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
- 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the automotive or trailer industry.
Preferred Experience:
- CDK Drive experience
- 5 years of previous experience in outside parts sales

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
