Reporting to the CEO, Utility is looking to hire an experienced Director of Operations Transformation to play a key role in our dynamic and rapidly growing company. This role will lead and is responsible for defining the processes, toolkit and resource plan to transform performance and drive delivery across the business, working closely with the Executive Team, functional leaders and staff across the company. This role is also responsible for defining best practices, integrating project management and defining and leading the cadence that we use to manage the business. Additionally, this person will work with individual Executives and their functions on priority initiatives as defined and agreed with the Executive and the CEO.
The successful candidate will set the tone for exceptional collaboration across the organization and work closely with the Executive Team and our private equity owners. This role is based in our offices in Houston, TX with travel to our Technology Center in Denver, CO.

Responsibilities:
- Identification of transformation opportunities & develop plans to drive organizational change
- Leading cross-functional teams to manage transformation projects, milestones & deliverables
- Build strong relationships with the Executive team, key stakeholders and employees to gain buy-in & support for transformation initiative
- Utilize data to information decision-making and measure the success of initiative
- Monitor & measure the progress & impact of transformation initiatives, providing regular updates to stakeholders
- Identify & mitigate risks that may impede success of transformation initiatives
- Act as an internal consultant to the organization to support operational excellence
- Additional strategic projects as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (engineering, business, supply chain operations)
- Experience in business transformation; operational performance improvement end-to-end (from initial planning through implementation and continuous improvement); operational planning / tracking / management processes, toolkits, management meetings establishment and ongoing implementation
- Experience desired in both large company and start-up / scale-up company environments
- Strong knowledge of business processes and project management
- Experience desired in leading or supporting strategic, operational and/or commercial initiatives, e.g. Value Engineering, Manufacturing facility design / construction / commissioning, Technology commercialization
- Excellent leadership & communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Experience working across technical, operational and commercial functions and supporting integration of planning, tracking and delivery management, including culture building and reinforcement
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
Salary : $180,000 - $200,000
