Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in nursing
- Ten (10) years of related clinical RN experience
- Five (5) years of nursing quality improvement and/or program management experience
- Five (5) years of progressive management experience

• Valid state of Texas Professional Nursing (RN) license
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Health System Program Manager of Nursing Informatics is accountable for the effective strategic planning, and the personnel, operational and project management of the nursing informatics portfolio and program to ensure optimal design, implementation, and adoption of technology at optimal cost to drive quality and safe care that leads to improved outcomes, and nurse satisfaction.
The Program Manager provides primary leadership by serving in the role of project manager, facilitator, change agent, innovator, and consultant to promote nursing workflow optimization across the hospital enterprise and academic enterprise. Serves as a Nursing Informatics liaison between the University of Texas Medical Branch frontline staff, nursing informaticists, Information Services & Technology, ancillary services, and the Chief Nursing Information Officer.
