What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Research Assistant, Clinical Laboratory Sciences position at UTMB Health Careers?
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicant must be enrolled full-time in a Bachelor's or Master degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Pathologists' Assistant Program.
Job Duties:
- Assist in conducting research including data collection and record keeping.
- Preparation of reagents and materials for conducting experiments.
- Laboratory upkeep.
- Ensuring availability of reagents and supplies.
- Preparing experiments including protein lysate extraction, ELISA, Western blot, immunofluorescence, and agglutination assays.
- Meet with faculty supervisor regularly to maintain ongoing communication regarding the experiments.
Salary Range:
Commensurate with experience.
