Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and two years of related experience.
Job Summary:
To provide professional and administrative coordination of human resource and financial management activities.
Job Duties:
Administrative
- Responsible for Human Resources procedures related to employee appointment and maintenance transactions. This includes but is not limited to the following:
- Review and process Employment Authorization Forms.
- Review and process the following transactions, including but not limited to: new hires, transfers, reclassifications, status changes, salary changes, separations, and leaves of absence.
- Open and maintain complete/accurate files.
- Update/maintain faculty database, if applicable.
- Review and process Memorandums of Appointment, if applicable.
- Ensure compliance with UT System Regents Rules.
- Serve as liaison to staff in other entity processing units, Human Resources, Payroll, and other support areas.
- Interacts with customers toward effective problem resolution and assists with questions regarding policies, procedures, and operations of the entity.
- Prepares reports as requested for institutional and/or external reporting purposes.
- In the School of Medicine, coordinate, verify and submit the AAMC Faculty Salary Survey and all Faculty Roster information. Complete annual surveys and run reports as needed.
- Identifies operational problems and implements changes to provide solutions.
Budget
- Coordinate information to support the institutional/departmental budget and planning process.
- Maintains departmental reconciliation and analysis of commitments made through the entity.
- Adheres to internal controls established for the department.
- Performs related duties as required.
Salary Range:
Commensurate with experience.
