ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Conduct interdisciplinary research and scholarship related to rehabilitation science (e.g. disability, r-recovery, physical activity and nutritional interventions).
- Publish in high quality journals and write competitive research grants.
- Mentor junior faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and doctoral students.
- Establish collaborative research relationships with investigators in other academic departments, as well as individuals outside UTMB who are involved in providing rehabilitation services and conducting clinical research.
