What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Business Systems Analyst (Partial Remote/Local) - Supply Chain Informatics position at UTMB Health?
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and three years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications :
- A supply chain management, management information systems, accounting, or finance degree is preferred.
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with data visualization, business intelligence, and reporting tools (preferred Power BI).
- Oracle / Peoplesoft FMS experience.
- Experience in OR / procedural areas, Decision Support, Predictive Analytics, and Demand Planning.
Job Summary :
To Define, develop, and implement new or enhanced business processes at the enterprise level in support of new or enhanced data and information systems and technology. Identifies and initiates opportunities for business process improvement using information technology. Uses information technology to provide institutional / administrative / financial reporting and analysis in support of current and future academic and business environments as required according to UTMB institutional guidelines.

Work Schedule :
Partial remote, being on-site at least two times a week and also as needed. Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, and as needed on occasion.
