Resident Monitor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Monitors to join our team. The Monitors will play a crucial role in overseeing individuals in various settings, ensuring their safety and well-being while providing support and guidance. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to handle at risk youth effectively, and a commitment to fostering a positive environment.

Duties

• Conduct regular observations of individuals to ensure their safety and compliance with established protocols.
• Engage in research data collection to assess program effectiveness and individual progress.
• Provide addiction counseling and support to individuals as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and files related to individual cases and incidents.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary to de-escalate situations.
• Supervise individuals during activities, ensuring adherence to rules and guidelines.
• Administer medication as prescribed, following all safety protocols.
• Obtain relevant certifications as required for the role.

Experience

• Previous experience in a monitoring or supervisory role is preferred.
• Previous experience work with youth ages 7-18.
• Strong conflict management skills are necessary for effectively handling challenging situations.
• A valid Driver's License is required .
• Must be able to pass a FBI/BCI.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
