Utopia Home Care of Connecticut has an available position for a HR Coordinator at our East Haven branch.

The HR Coordinator will work closely with the Senior Director of Human Resources to execute efficient HR strategies focused on benefits administration, workforce planning, and employee engagement. Successful candidates will use data to improve job readiness, employee retention, and overall employee satisfaction. This role requires a flexible skill set and the ability to collaborate across teams and levels.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in recruitment.
- Conduct onboarding and training for new employees.
- Data entry, employee record keeping and timely filing of documentation.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft and knowledge of Google Drive.
- Collect and analyze data, prepare reports and share findings.
- Coordinate and provide training as requested by directors/supervisors.
- Perform administrative tasks related to staffing changes, including resignations, terminations, and leaves of absence.
Benefits Administration:
- Collaborate with the HR Manager to administer all employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and voluntary benefits.
HR Systems and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with DDS, state, and federal laws by auditing employee files.
- Use Paycom System for employee data management and reporting.
- Maintain training records and submit necessary reports in a timely manner.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and levels.
- Skill in providing HR support and guidance to employees and managers.
- Experience delivering training and conducting policy communications.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Position Hours:
- Full-Time
- Monday through Friday
- 9am-5pm
