We are looking for a talented CAD Design Specialist to join our team in Hackensack, NJ. This role plays a vital part in the design and execution of automated parking systems, requiring strong CAD expertise, technical drawing skills, and construction planning knowledge. The ideal candidate will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop and refine precise, compliant designs that align with project specifications and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Drawing & Design

  • Develop and prepare detailed technical drawings and blueprints for automated parking systems and mechanical solutions.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or other CAD software to produce accurate, high-quality drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards.

Collaboration & Project Coordination

  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to refine and modify designs.
  • Analyze project specifications and blueprints to incorporate necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain drawing archives and documentation, ensuring updates and revisions are accurately recorded.
  • Facilitate clear communication between design, operations, and construction teams.

    • Quality Control & Compliance

  • Verify that designs meet local building codes, safety regulations, and structural requirements.
  • Identify and resolve design inconsistencies or construction challenges proactively.

    • Qualifications & Experience

  • Education : Associate degree or certification in Drafting, CAD Design, or a related field.
  • Experience : Minimum 2-3 years in drafting, design, or technical drawing (preferably in mechanical parking, elevators, automated storage, or building solutions).
  • Software Proficiency : Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar CAD software.
  • Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with construction practices, architectural plans, and mechanical systems.
  • Blueprint Reading : Ability to interpret and analyze blueprints, technical documents, and project plans.
