The Multimedia Specialist/Video Producer plays a critical role on the Content team within the Office of Strategic Marketing and Communications at UVA Health. This position is responsible for all aspects of videography, including pre-production, production, and post-production, along with photography assignments as needed. The role requires expertise in capturing high-quality visual content for both digital and print platforms, ensuring that all deliverables align with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree.
Experience: Three years experience.
Licensure: None required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.

- Produce assigned video projects, coordinating all aspects from pre-production to post-production into requested platforms or deliverables.
- Manage services related to video production, which may include studio management, project execution, vendor services, and production supervision.
- Interact with marketing, internal, and executive stakeholders to execute vision and ensure products meet the needs of organizational leadership.
- Employ UVA Health brand standards, techniques, methods, and style guides, and developing standards with the Creative and Content teams where relevant.
- Oversees work assigned to external agencies, in order to complete multimedia deliverables in alignment with objectives.
- Translate organizational goals into strategic media deliverables in alignment with larger vision for a project or program
- Manage photography requests as required.
- In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
