UVA Imaging is growing and would like to open positions for our local Radiology Students looking to enhance their skills with additional real life patient care experiences. You would be working along side a registered technologist helping with patient flow and positioning. This opportunity may also open the door to a full-time position and offer great opportunities with advanced training.

JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director and / or the Technologist, the Technologist Assistant :
- Is responsible for supporting the radiology staff and providing the first clinical point of contact for patients.
- Facilitates the patient flow to minimize patient wait times and maximize the utilization of resources.
- Demonstrates competence with all imaging safety compliance initiatives.
- Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.
