What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist Inpatient - Per diem position at UVM Health Network- Elizabeth Community Hospital?
The Physical Therapist organizes and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of a body part; assists patient in reaching his / her maximum performance and functional level as well as teaching compensatory skills to alleviate temporary or permanent loss or incapacitation. Qualifications / Job Requirements : Education / Skills Required :
- Minimum qualifications are possession of a B.S. degree in physical therapy and licensure or license eligibility in the State of New York.
- Requires ability to communicate effectively to patients regarding the anticipated treatment plan, level of patient's expected participation and expected outcome.
