Job Details
Working Monday to Friday from 0700-1530 rotating into 1000-1830 with weeknight, weekend and holiday on-call responsibilities.
Experience : Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years. Ambulatory and Pedi General OR experience required.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to ensure care is delivered with a mixture of technological expertise and a positive commitment to meeting patient and family needs.
Work with a multidisciplinary team to plan for patient care in the operating room in a timely manner.
Communicate and coordinate operating room activities to facilitate efficiency in the surgical case progression and turnover between cases.
Implement safe, competent, and efficient patient and family care within policies, procedures, and standards of care plan to the perioperative patient’s level of complexity.
Job Requirements
Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.
Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred.
Schedule Information
Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and / or different locations within the organization. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
Unit Specific Information
Proof of one Tdap vaccination from adulthood is required if working at American Family Children's Hospital. A 10-year update is not mandatory.

Current / valid Drivers License required if driving is requirement of the position. Required for Dialysis. Check Unit Description to determine if required for any other positions.
Required for clinical positions only. Must be issued by American Heart Association (AHA). Renewals : Certificates of Completion / Attestation showing proof that renewal was completed will be accepted and allow candidate to continue working while they wait for a copy of their new card.
