POSITION SUMMARY: Provides management support and coordinates unit operations with 24-hour accountability. Oversees and manages department staff ensuring the delivery of quality, cost effective patient care with the Health Care System. Establishes unit goals and objectives which support the Hospital's goals, values and mission. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental and divisional nursing philosophy and objectives, as well as Health System initiatives. |

EDUCATION/TRAINING: Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Preferred: Master's Degree in Nursing or Health Care Administration. |
