Pay Range : $33.58 - 50.36 / hour

Sign-on bonus : Up to $10,000

POSITION SUMMARY :

Provides radiologic imaging, computed tomography imaging and patient care services at defined levels to patients.

Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.

Utilizes ALARA principles during examinations.

Implements radiation protection and safety standards.

Prepares for and assists the physician in procedures, including interventional procedures. Performs reconstruction of CT images.

Prepares and administers contrast media and / or medications within the scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.

EDUCATION / TRAINING :

Minimum :

Completion of accredited Radiologic Technologist program.

Preferred :

Experience as a hospital radiographer and CT technologist

Must provide copy of diploma / degree for highest level of education obtained

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION :

Minimum :

Certification by ARRT in Radiology or current NMTCB certification.

Current license from IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency).

CT certification within 24 months of hire.

CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire.

Preferred :

ARRT certification in CT.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / ABILITIES :

Minimum : Previous healthcare experience

Preferred : Two years of clinical experience
