Pay Range: $36.26 - $54.40 / hour
Additional components of compensation may include:

Per Diem Staff will not be eligible to participate in any associate benefit plans sponsored by the Health System.

POSITION SUMMARY: Plans, evaluates and administers Occupational Therapy services and care to patients upon physician referral. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental philosophy and objectives, as well as, Health System initiatives. Coordinates family involvement in assessment and treatment of the patient. |
EDUCATION/TRAINING: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Participates in educational programs on an ongoing basis and completes mandatory CEUs as required. |
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Current license from the State of Illinois or in the process of acquiring licensure per department policy. CPR certification required. |
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Successful completion of annual clinical, age, and job specific competencies and skill verification tools required. Familiar with relative value and limitations of equipment. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing in a care, considerate and concerned manner. Willingness to accept responsibility. Ability to direct technical and assistant staff and students and organize work assignments. Leadership skills essential to the position. |
