POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of an RN, assists in providing patient care. Performs selected cross-trained skills, treatments and procedures specific to department for patients, including EKG and /or monitoring. Updates RN with timely information regarding status of patient in compliance with Patient Services Department policy and other regulatory agency requirements. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental and divisional nursing philosophy and objectives, as well as, Health System initiatives. |
