POSITION SUMMARY: Assists the Pharmacist in providing service to all areas of the UW Health Hospital. Performs technical duties necessary to prepare and dispense medications. Assist customers in the pharmacy, collect payment and deliver outpatient medications to inpatients. Ensure pharmacy insurance claims are correctly adjudicated through the computer system for reimbursement by working with patients and calling insurance companies to address issues. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental philosophy and objectives, as well as Health System initiatives. |
