Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a vital member of an interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the Madison metropolitan area.
Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of patients treated by Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants, rehabilitation technicians, and occupational therapy students.
- Assesses patients' needs and identifies appropriate occupational therapy interventions.
- Observes and evaluates treatment affect, accomplishment of short and long-term goals, and recommends changes to physicians as needed.
- Performs assessments, reassessments, and QI scoring accurately and timely.
- Assesses patient pain interfering with optimal level of function and makes appropriate interventions.
- Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces medical/healthcare errors.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of WI.
- Previous experience in all aspects of occupational therapy preferred.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
