Job Description

Job Title : Cardiovascular Technologist / Cath Lab Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Hours per Shift : 10-Hour (06 : 30 - 17 : 00)

Experience : Minimum two years of Cardiovascular Technologist work experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory required. Electrophysiology or EP experience. Strong EP Ablation experience required.

License : Must be licensed or registered by appropriate credentialing program preferred.

Certifications : BLS must be certified through the American Heart Association ONLY. ACLS - must be certified through the American Heart Association ONLY. RCIS certification required.

Must-Have : Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles or more from assigned primary work site location.

Description :

Practice in a growing technologically advanced and dynamic interventional procedural area.

Be an integral member of our highly collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Assist with scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring invasive cardiovascular procedures.

Receive opportunities to cross-train to our growing Pediatric and Adult Congenital Invasive Cardiology Program.

Travelers are the first to float.

The traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs.

During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit to complete the contract.

The education requirement includes being a graduate of a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Technologist training program.

One year of Catheterization Laboratory or Interventional Radiology experience may be considered in lieu of the education requirement.

Travelers will participate in call responsibilities from 1700 - 0630 the next business day.

This role requires weeknight and weekend late shift and call responsibilities.

Orientation program is typically about one week, involving 20 hours.
