We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to : Be responsible for independent peri-anesthetic management of complex varied surgical and procedural inpatient / outpatient pediatric populations. Care for a varied case load of surgical and procedural patients.
Job Requirements
Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location.
Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and / or different locations within the organization. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
Current independent PACU, Emergency Department, Surgical Critical Care, Surgical ICU, or Surgical IMC experience or experience of surgical general care experience with adult populations or recent experience inpatient pediatric if working within AFCH Pre / Post / PACU.
Current independent medical general care with previous PACU experience.
Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years.
Schedule Information
40 hrs / week, Day / Evening, 10 hr shifts, range of hours 0830-2030. No weekends.
Unit Specific Information
Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start (not for clinic positions).
On-call Optional : Call response time of 45 minutes; 45 minutes from phone call, dressed in scrubs and reporting to charge nurse.

Current / valid Drivers License required if driving is requirement of the position.
