Work Schedule:
100% FTE, day shift. Monday - Friday 1:00PM - 9:00PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
Pay:
- External hires may be eligible for up to a $4000.00 sign on bonus.

Play an integral role in a patient's diagnosis at UW Health. You'll help bridge the gap between a tissue sample being taken and a diagnosis being made by a pathologist.
We are seeking a Histo Technician (HT or HTL) - Dermatopathology/Mohs to:
- Prepare microscope slides that will assist pathologists in making a diagnosis.
- Perform basic and complex testing.
- Perform some advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and problem resolution.
- Coordinate and prioritize workflow to ensure timely testing.
- Associate's Degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology OR Education and training equivalent to an associate degree to include:
Education: 60 semester hours including either 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses or 24 semester hours of science courses Required - Bachelor's Degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or chemical, physical, or biological science Preferred
- Previous laboratory experience Preferred
- Histotechnician/Histotechnologist (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent Preferred
