What are the responsibilities and job description for the Neurodiagnostic Tech II position at UW Health?
Work Schedule:
90% to 100% FTE. 36/40 hours per week. All shifts, Mon - Fri with rotating weekends and holidays. No mandatory shift changes and no call. You may be eligible for up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE). Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.
- Day: 8 hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 7:00 am and 4:30 pm
- Evening: 8 hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 3:00 pm and 11:30 pm
- Night: 8/10/12 hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 7:00 pm - 7:30 am
Pay:
- External hires may be eligible for up to a $10,000.00 sign on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

We are seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech II (EEG Tech, Registered EEG Tech, REEGT, Registered Sleep Tech) to:
- Conduct complex electroneurodiagnostic procedures and review, anlayze and prepare descriptive report following procedure.
- Complete daily laboratory operations with the main emphasis on high quality patient related procedures which adhere to guidelines and technical standards.
- Interact patients and families regarding procedural direction and information, developing patient rapport and confidence.
- Implement alternative methods and/or make necessary adjustments to obtain optimal recording, adapting procedure to particular clinical circumstance.

- Graduate of an electroneurodiagnostic tech program Required
- Four (4) years of relevant training and experience may be considered in lieu of graduation from an electroneurodiagnostic tech program in addition to the experience below.
- 1 year of experience as a practicing clinical Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist Required
- Current registry by the American Board of Registration of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists as a Registered EEG Technologist (REEGT) Upon Hire Required
- CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required
