Work Schedule:
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position scheduled to work Monday through Friday, with core hours between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Applicants hired into this position will work at University Hospital.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:
- Provide patient care to adult patients with Multiple Sclerosis performing acute and chronic management of their disorder.
- Manage medication and follow-up care for a regular panel of patients in the outpatient Multiple Sclerosis Clinic within the practice agreement and scope of practice.
- Work alongside a care team including doctors, advanced practice providers, registered nurses, clinical pharmacists, and social workers. The MS program at UW Health is a National Multiple Sclerosis Society Comprehensive Care Center. In 2019, it was the only care system in Wisconsin to receive the MS Society's Excellence in Healthcare Award.
- Educate nursing and medical students, support programs at UW Madison, and develop and implement comprehensive patient education programs for Multiple Sclerosis patients.

Education:
If Nurse Practitioner: Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.
If Physician Assistant: Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum - State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
If Nurse Practitioner*:
- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
- Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Emergency; Family.
If Physician Assistant*:
- Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
- Active PA board certification
All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have*: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
