We are seeking an Optometrist to:
- Join the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences to provide quality care as an independent health care provider while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including general and specialty ophthalmologists.
- Provide quality care in a compassionate and patient-family centered environment.
- Plan and create learning opportunities for technical staff and residents.
- Educate patients and families on wellness, prevention and treatment plans.
- This position will be 50% focused seeing Glaucoma patients.
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) Degree from an accredited Optometry School Required
- Completion of a one-year residency in post-optometry school study Preferred
- 3 years post graduate clinical experience OR completion of a residency program Required
- 7 years of relevant clinical experience Preferred
- State of Wisconsin Optometry Licensure Upon Hire Required
- CPR certification Upon Hire Required
