Job Description

Job Title : Cath Lab Technician

Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (07 : 30 - 18 : 00), with a variable day off and call

Guaranteed Hours : Details not specified

Experience : 2 years of experience required

License : State Radiology License required

Certifications : ACLS, BCLS, RCIS, or ARRT required

Must-Have : Either CVT (RCIS) or RT (ARRT)

Job Description :

• Accepting first-time candidates
• Weekend shifts are required
• On-call is required : 4-6 days per month, plus late team responsibilities
• Floating within the hospital is expected
• Block schedule accommodation not available unless specified
• Local candidates are accepted with no difference in consideration
• Pending licensure is not accepted
• Maximum of 1 week of requested time off
• Technicians must be skilled in scrubbing and monitoring Cath procedures, including PCIs and support devices like IABP and Impella
• Facility is a Magnet, Teaching, Short Term Acute Care Center
• EPIC charting experience is a plus
• Clinicians must be fully compliant before proceeding with background checks
• Former staff must be separated for 18 months before returning as a traveler
• Two professional references required upon submission
• Orientation for allied positions can start any Monday
• Modules are required pre-start, except EPIC module completed during orientation; modules are non-billable and recorded via transcripts by the facility
